About 1.85 million people in Ontario have a disability. That's one in seven people. Over the next 20 years as the population ages, the number will rise to one in five Ontarians. Ontario needs to be more accessible to people with disabilities. It makes good sense - economically and socially.

Casting directors are looking for males and females of all backgrounds.

Charlotte STYLE Magazine Hosting Open Casting Call for Charleston Fashion Week

If you are a high fashion model looking for exposure in a major runway show, now is your chance to shine. Charlotte STYLE Magazine is set to host an open casting call on January 16, 2010 for male and female models interested in gracing the catwalk for Charleston magazine’s Charleston Fashion Week March 16-20, 2010.

Now in its 4th year, Charleston Fashion Week is a spectacular display of fashion and style that has garnered acclaim from all over the United States. Charleston Fashion Week has been instrumental in putting the southeast’s emerging fashion industry on the national radar. Selected models will be seen by thousands of show attendees, which will include myriad model scouts, members of the media and other influential industry professionals.

The fourth annual Charleston Fashion Week, owned and produced by Charleston magazine, is a five-night celebration of the region’s retail and design community. Held March 16-20, 2010 in the historic city of Charleston, SC, Charleston Fashion Week will feature more than 30 runway shows, the Emerging Designer Competition: Southeast, and a number of chic after-parties.

Named a Top 20 Event for March by the Southeast Tourism Society, the event will also feature the Style Lounge, the Catwalk for Kids auction and luncheon, Rock The Runway Model Competition, the Stiletto Stampede, and the Bridal Couture Show.

Charleston Fashion Week creative director Ayoka Lucas looks forward to the final open casting to be held in North Carolina, “We are eager to see what the Queen City has to offer on January 16th, 2010. Preliminary Casting Call for Male Models in St. Louis area

This is an “Early Bird" casting call for male models in the St. Louis region who would be interested in participating in a new artistic photo book and possible calendar project. This is intended for regional and national distribution.

Artistic Narrative

Rugged. Majestic. Breathtaking. Captivating. Dominant. Tranquil. Exotic. Rustic.

All of these words have become synonymous with various natural landscapes; with outdoors settings that elicit powerful internal response. However, all of these words could and can be used to describe the power of the human male.

This project, through photography, seeks to reconnect these very adjectives – among others – with the male form. Whether in everyday scenes or in natural settings, the male form has a story to be told.

Model Call for Hair Show in Chicago

Milio’s Hair Studio in Chicago is holding an open call for models for a hair show. Models need to be open to creative cut and color. They are looking for models that we can do versatile looks. A Great Day look that can transform to a funky cool night style. Models who are selected will need to be Available on Jan 22nd during the Day to get Hair done, appointments will be set upon booking.

All models will need to arrive for the Show at 6:00pm Jan 22, 2010
The salon is hosting several model calls, spots will book up early.
